Silva started having success on the feet in the later rounds. He had DC wincing and backpedaling. Wad hitting him with solid shots and his chin held up against former HW DC.

Would be interesting to see how that would've played out with a prime, full camp Silva on Cialis.

Unrelated, I just watched Black Beast get his neck crunched by Matt Mitrione (who at one point called himself the most athletic fighter just because he was in the NFL... Lol). Now BB is a contender and Matt is making Bellator headlines. Love MMA.

In case of Matt he is making the headline by fighting against THE GOAT . a luxury Black Beast can not afford.

BB is not a contender .. he'd get wrecked by any top 5 hw easily.. but yes Silva easily outclassed D.C. On the stand up and had to resort to dry humping Silva for the win

Anderson fucked up by not agreeing to a five round title fight. He got laid on the whole fight but managed to badly hurt DC with a body kick at the end of the third.

Yes, Silva won 30 seconds of the DC fight.

Full camp Anderson would stop DC within 5 rounds if they fought today

Yeah, totally destroyed DC for the entire 15 seconds out of 15 minutes. Silva should have won the decision.

Who are the top 5 HWs rn? I only have him losing to Werdum, Cain, and JDS, mayve Ngannou. He's had a decent string recently.

Decent string?? He lost to big country and has beaten nobody.. jds arlovski, overeem, Cain, werdum, hell even rothwell would dispose of bb quite easily..

Andy lost bad, but had some shocking moments of brilliance. I don't think his TDD even prime could stop DC all night tho, but he'd be much harder to keep down and would be throwing subs and strikes when he did get TD'd. I think Silva still has the best bottom defense at 185. He was stifling some heavy punches.

He would lose to barnet, Travis Brown, Overrum, Hunt, Rothwell

I would favour Struve over him and AA IS 50/50

Overeem and Arlovski are too chinny. They could play it smart and beat him via skill, but heavyweights hit hard.

Idk about Ben because he's kind of like sloth from the goonies and eats punches.

What? I'm saying there was a decent chance Anderson could have turned it around if it were 5 rounds because DC was hurt at the end of the third.

Cormier obviously won the fight. I'm not saying he shouldn't have.

Anderson's performance in that fight was low key amazing. He barely took any damage on the ground, perplexed DC on the feet, and hurt him in the 3rd round.

This all happened 2 weeks after getting his spleen removed and he took the fight on 2 days notice! GOAT! Just couldn't stop the TDs of the LHW champion, an olympic wrestler who had been training extensively for a 5 round fight.

There's a reason why the UFC won't feed him to the fighters mentioned above.. that and the black lives matter would come to protest that beating
