Watched Nate vs RDA for the first time.

That was utter domination. I don think there is anything technical that Nate could do to reverse the results. RDA was just on another level, moving at a different speed. If they thought Conor could compete with RDA, I can see why Nate was such an underdog to Conor.

Couple take aways.

Nate can't beat RDA and I'm not interested in a rematch.

Barring an early ko punch, Conor would have been slaughtered.

Holy shit RDA is a beast. I saw him beat Cerrone and pettis, but I thought pettis was overrated and Cerrone was fluky. I don't think that anymore. I think RDA just might be an outlier talent.
 
It boiled down to Diaz checking literally ZERO kicks.

If either of the Diaz bros got a decent check game going, along with some basic wrestling fundamentals, they would be absolutely lethal. Probably UFC champs.
 
Shields said that Nate was injured in this fight.
 
RDA is a beast but Nate missed weight and supposedly took a week off from training near the end of the camp due to injury. Also, during that time Nate's relationship with the UFC seemed to be terrible and many thought he was going to get cut soon. Not saying Nate wins a rematch, but I don't think that was close at all to the best NAte we've seen
 
RDA has been making a lot of guys look bad these days.

RDA destroyed Nick "The Stepchild" Diaz. It wasn't even close. Nate in turn, beat the breaks off of Conor and exposed him. RDA might make conor the first UFC casualty. Mcgregor won't be able to take RDA down, and we all know what happens when Conor tries to strike with his opponents. He gets owned.

Diaz had an injury going into that fight, but I think the results would have been the same, or similar.

I think RDA had Nate on more than just leg kicks. Those were the most devastating attack, but he also completely dominated the wrestling and bjj.

I think they have more than basic wrestling skills considering their camp, they just aren't good at it. They don't have a good body style for it, and they are not explosive.
