Isn't it funny that Dana praised Stevens for lnpraying Lyman Good and said if you can't get up you don't belong in here.

And now that Stevens did the exact same thing even worse against Zapata,Dana was pissed at him and even thought he lost the fight!?

Don't get me wrong,i hate lnprayers but Stevens clearly won that fight,no matter how you look at it.The only damage he took was from an illegal elbow...

Dana White either suffers from some form of dementia or he's a filthy ex boxing promoter who's friends with filthy moralless casino owners and they all only care about one thing, and that's making more money.

idk which though.

I get this feeling Dana is good friends with Don King and Bob Arum.

I kind of agree that laying on someone in side control or just holding the back is not really winning a fight. If you can't finish from the back or side then you need to transition to the mount and start ground and pounding/armbarring him.

That said Dana White is a scumbag and the sooner he is out of MMA the better.

I was under the impression that Dana believed the decision should have gone to Stephens.

Before the third, he was happy that they gave Zapata one of the first two rounds.

So Lyman Good is on TUF and isnt destroying people? WTF?

He only liked it because of his stupid feud with Bjorn.

Bellator fighter = "If you can't get up, you don't belong in the UFC."
Non Bellator fighter = "You can't win a fight just by holding a guy down the whole time."
See a pattern here?

TS, I thought exactly the same. Dana's opinion depends entirely on what he thinks of a particular fighter or situation.

Dana hates bad judging, and grapplers

ever since GSP retired his stance has changed from "If you don't like the way he fights you should just stop watching MMA!" to "This is what I love about the UFC guys who come to finish and not just lay on you and try to eke decisions! you cant have that here in the UFC!"

LAST NIGHT

he hated grapplers so much he chose a guy who was getting grapple-fucked for 10 minutes and was landing pitter patter elbows and punches from his back, to win.

So he always says mma judging is horrible and something needs to be done, then the worst, most perplexing judging decision in all my years of watching MMA gets read, and he says "It makes absolutely no sense, but I'm glad the judges gave it to Zapata!"

like ....wtf

I thought it was going to be a draw with a 9-9 3rd round but I was stoked that the judges gave it to Zapata because Stephens did nothing the entire fight

If a guy can hold you down the entire fight, or keep your back the entire fight, YOU DONT BELONG in that fight. Go sign up for some wrestling or jiujitsu classes.

Lay and Pray is to be blamed on the "prey", not the lay.

Be mad at the subpar fighter who gets into that fight with such awful grappling skills.

This isn't boxing folks. If you cant stay on your feet or get up, learn to fight on the ground, or go box for a living.

"Did nothing"????

He got several takedowns. He took his opponents back several times, and held the back for most of the fight.

If he did "nothing", then the striker who got dominated did "Nothing...minus 10".

What did Zapata "do"?
- Got taken down repeatedly
- Show he had no clue how to grapple
- Gave his back up 12 out of 15 minutes
- Couldn't get up to save his life
- Got slammed and almost KO'ed from it
- Threw some bitch slaps blindly behind his own head
- Threw some illegal elbows

The better fighter did not win...despite dominating his opponent the entire fight.

Okay well obviously we have different definitions of dominating

What did Stephens do?
- Get elbowed in the head while attempting take downs
- Get take down and ride out positional control

What did Zapata do?
-Inflicted 10x the damage that Stephens did

Stephens had better position but still got his ass kicked the majority of the fight, sorry if I don't automatically give the round to guy who gets a take down and does absolutely nothing with it, imo the fight should have been a draw with the point deduction but as I said before I am glad that the judges gave it to Zapata and didn't rewards Stephens positional control with no attempts to finish the fight

That's cause bellator fighters do not belong in the UFC duh.

So glad Stephens lost, was rooting hard for Zapata (bj penn voice) haha.
That was good ol' karma.
''bellator don't belong here'', I mean wtf? It's TUF and he knows it but he just wanted to kiss Dana's ass after that lame performance, and he wanted to do it again. Good riddance

It's always been obvious since day one he has a bias against Bellator. Any fighter who trashes them, he's going to like (at that very moment). It should come as no surprise.
