Anyways, your assertion that I am "defending communism" as well as the supposition that you can attack communism is the root of the problem: the incoherent and endlessly expansive definition of communism as a foreign policy matter. Cuba, USSR, China, Yugoslavia - they all have or had communist parties and may be referred to as communistic, despite the three systems being wildly different (the first two being insular Leninist state capitalist regimes, the third being an export-oriented state capitalist regime, and the fourth being a syndicalist-market socialist republic. Lumping them all as "communism" creates a dangerously vague target. Even the United States' attempts at official definitions in foreign policy objectives were absolutely ludicrous, defining communism as being defined by totalitarianism despite communism being doctrinally libertarian and respectful of individual access to and micro-communal control of property as its explanatory principle.

Doctrinally, there is very little at all communist about China or the CPC, and the term "communism" has been evacuated of all meaning by propagandists (of both pro-communist and anti-communist) varieties and misuse by persons such as yourself. Same thing with socialism, but to a lesser degree, since communism can be used as an historical artifact to refer to Leninist governments that popped up in corners of the world.

Well, if it's any comfort, there's a good chance that anything on Radio Free Asia (or Radio Free Europe for that matter) is just straight up propaganda.

It was an RFA article from earlier in the year that touched on a couple of different but interlinked subjects such as the 'Sharp Eyes' total surveillance and newly implemented 'Social Credit' system that denies citizens rights to travel among other things but referenced multiple other sources within it such as Reuters and the Chinese government itself.

I have a sneaky suspicion the Muslim re-education camps are real too - and that the young girl taunting Xi Jinping on live stream really went missing along with her father and another activist before ending up in an insane asylum - but often reference The Guardian's estimate (120,000) over RFA's (up to a million-plus) out of fairness. Not that I'd be surprised if it's closer to the latter.

Yea, I don't think I've even addressed Trot's intended discussion in here - mostly because I largely don't care what the CIA does to China - and it veered off pretty quick. The source was just out of pure laziness and I already had it handy to post from months ago. There's been far better in the time since to all but verify a few of the things that have gone down.

I can post videos all saying that frogs are evil. But if the unit of discussion is on what a frog is and how it is identified, those videos are not of much use. Simply repeating "they're evil" will not help in narrowing the discussion.
