Was there ever a mention on why Silva/Diaz wasn't a No Contest?

I'm going to skip the long explanation citing the many fights that had outcomes reversed to a no-contest because it's common knowledge.

The only possible explanation I can assume is because both fighters tested positive for a banned substance, but that seems like a weak argument.

Most people would not consider Pot a ped - so No-Contest

Let's play stupid and submit the argument it is - his banned substance was different from Silva so it clearly eliminates the idea of that making it an equal playing field.

If anything, since both fighters were pulling shenanigans; That should make a stronger case for it being a tampered with outcome so yeah, no contest.
