What if Chael gets the cover? I could see this happening as many casuals are fans of Chael. I like Chael but it would make no sense for him to be on the cover. EA should've put Aldo or Cruz get some exposure to the little guys. I wouln't even mind Gustaffson considering their epic fight. If Chael lands the cover I think a very low standard will be set.

To be honest, I dont think the vote meant anything. I think it was just a way to promote the game...this isnt a ufc thing, I think its that way for all ea cover votes

Low standard for sure. But if the fans get to vote there is really nothing you can do.

It's the cover to a video game. It probably means more to the fighters than random people walking around walmart or whoever buys the game.

Vote Gustafsson!

cruz? yes been out for so long not to mention he's loosing his belt to renen!!!!!

but i agree the smaller guys need some more recognition

JOSH ROSENTHAL FOR THE COVER!!! have him between jj and gus eyes as red as the devils a**

It's just a marketing tactic that is becoming all the more common in our society. Let people think they are helping create your product and they're more likely to buy it or so they think. Seems like more trouble than its worth to me.

Jones/Weidman in America, Aldo/Barao in South America, Gus in Europe

Would be sick

Yes, because:

Plus, the fan votes don't mean anything. If political elections can get rigged, who's to make sure the fan votes really count? :icon_lol:

I don't think whoever gets the most votes gets the cover. No way Marty Brodeur won for the NHL cover. EA are liars!

It's all fine until 4chan catches wind and Nick Cage ends up on the cover.

Never leave it in the hands of the fans.
I'm still laughing at Peyton Hillis being the on Madden 12 cover.

Seriously, why was Mr. Fumble himself on that cover, especially since he was on the Browns (a team no one cares about)=???

Its funny that they automatically put through Jones since they knew he wouldnt win the fan vote
