Was the deadpool 2 release designed to keep 'black panther #1? Will it?

I don't know when the deadpool release date was announced, but I know it got moved around.

I think that the deadpool 2 release date will keep IW from becoming #1 over black panther. No real conspiracy, but the people who decide these matters had to be aware of this being the likely scenario.

Could this have been intentional, and do you think that the end result will be BP remains?

It's the first movie to ever have a black actor in it. It should be kept at #1 for as long possible.

Different studio, but could still be some tactics of some kind there.

At least state whether you think Deadpool 2 will, or will not, keep infinity war from becoming #1.

Black Panther was a good movie. And the Lupito chick is banging.

It won't

Everyone who saw Black Panther is going to see Infinity Wars since Black Panther and Wakanda have a large role in it

Boseman himself is great but I must confess I found parts of it a little dated.

"But Black Panther I sell drugs to the community!"

Deadpool was corny as hell. I remember the bro guys laughing at jokes a teenager would say in HS . The movie was terrible.

People treated panther like some kind of cultural event. They saw it repeatedly for different reasons.

Most people disagree. It was meant to be funny, and it was loyal enough to the source material. I liked it.

As far was what will happen I strongly suspect IW will go ahead of Black Panther in the US, Deadpool is reasonably close but not THAT close, 3 weeks is along time in the modern blockbuster market. For example Force Awakens had taken $780 million in that period of its total $936 million.

Plus of course Deadpool 2 is R rated I assume?

I read some stuff about deadpool 2 test screenings going badly, however when you google it now, apparently it had the BEST TEST SCREENING SCORE EVAAAAAAAA, which seems slightly suspicious.

Off topic, but this slew of comic book movies the last 10 years has really created one of the most annoying subcultures of people.

These fuckers that haven't ever read one goddamn comic in their life, spouting off about how so-and-so would beat them, or this person has these abilities, or this guys backstory is this.

I really fucking hate all of you noobs that just now think you're into comic books. You're not. You watched fucking movies that aren't that faithful at all to the source material.

You're literally a fangirl.

Anyway, had to get that off my chest.
