I can't help but to feel like Conor was going to lose to RDA no matter what. Now that he lost to Diaz, I know its foolish to do MMAmath but is it fair to say he probably would not have beaten the 155 king?

I just dont see how Conor could have stopped RDA's takedowns.

Anybody in the top ten at LW beats conor handily, including rda.

I think RDA would have kicked Conor's ass. But I also thought that Nate couldn't beat Conor with only 10 days to prepare so what do I know.

I see RDA being starched in that fight.

Diaz beat Conor with chin, length, superior endurance, and a black belt. RDA relies on overwhelming pressure, which could lead to him getting clipped on the way in.

Conor would have been wary enough to execute a proper gameplan against RDA (unlike w/Diaz)

It was always a toss-up in my eyes, with RDA via sub being the most likely finish, followed by Conor via KO

Lol RDA wouldve smashed poor Connie to pieces... that crishing top game would've had to come with a parental advisory

Most of us were very confident that RDA was going to whoop Conor before the Diaz fight, it just helped confirm it.

Conor showed he's practically a one handed boxer when he fights other lefties, and his power was over rated. RDA would absolutely destroy him.

RDA has become a monster. His striking is still wild so he could easily get caught but if he can walk through one punch, he easily gets the fight down and takes over from there. Not every fight can be a one punch KO.

Conor should be thanking his lucky charms that he didnt fight RDA. I think he would have had a rousey moment after that beatdown.

Remember, RDA said he wasn't going for the sub. He would have kept punching. Turned Conor's face into hamburger medium rare.
