Was Poirer size a major advantage?

He seemed bigger/stronger. Didn't like seeing Max at that weight.

Of course, coupled with the fact that Holloway can’t bust a grape at LW.

It won him the fight.

Size usually is in the post-TMA romance era

Size disadvantage? I thought Max was moving up to 170,185, & even 205- because he's the best pound-for-pound in the world.

Lol stop that.

I’m sure the guy who needs 300+ punches to put away Manlets at FW hits like a Ford Escort at LW.

Show some respect to manlets.
One more thing, Poirer landed 200+ shots at LW and couldn't finish, so you kind of shot your own argument.

Nope, Poirier being a better fighter was a major advantage. Size was a minor one. Max doesn't and hasn't had good boxing that was his major disadvantage in the fight.

I’d like to see Max move to heavyweight & see Ngannou test that chin. But in all seriousness, Max needs to improve his boxing defense badly, eating shots isn’t a good strategy even if it works at featherweight (they call it featherweight for a reason, dude’s aren’t hitting that hard down there). I hope Max can shake this bullshit about pound-for-pound, so he can start to actually evolve his game, eventually he’s going to be forced to fight a LW.

They were all circle-jerking over how wide his back is...

145
That weight cut has proven to be a great divider
Conor at 145 is a problem for anyone
He smoked both of these guys
Poirer already said 145, never again
I think Poirer vs McGregor at 155 would be fantastic
Max needs to go back to 145
