In terms of significance, the distance he covered, etc. I fucking yelped when I saw that shit. Unbelievable!

I think this beats Tayshauns.

no, there were other defenders that drew his attention. tayshaun was one on one, although it was against a less athletic player in Reggie Miller

that was probably the best whole series of blocks for any non C defender i can remember off hand tho.....

he had like 5-7 straight up absurd, get that shit outta here denials.

name a better one then, gunther

the block on iggy sounded like a fkin gun shot. eat shit and live, iggy

Mother fucker clocked 19 MPH in only like 30ft of acceleration to come up and deny the Warriors any hope of winning.

GOAT block.

One second's time...

Thank Palp for the screenshots.

significance wise, yes it's awfully important. aesthically, not even close. he was literally being guarded by two other defenders and bern came outta left field.

biyombo blocking Bern on a full blown, all out roided Dunk Attempt was infinitely more impressive

Watch the play again.

my bad, it was only JR. don't know why i said two.

it was impressive as hell, not saying it wasn't. most significant ever? maybe

but Greatest? ever? not sure.

again, it was nasty. just there's great blocks all the time, people just forget. also, it's much more impressive, to me, to block someone when they actually see you defending. Bern had many great blocks this series

how about this gem from earlier this year, good lawd

possibly had the most momentum of any block ever I'll give it that...

hard to say because potato quality

I can't think of one more significant than LeBron's, but this one is my favorite.

You could of made a thread "do you hate GSW fans" poll, and the results would be exactly the same, I bet.

But yea, Lebron has crazy hops.

if it was done by JR Smith or Iman Shumpert, would it still be the greatest block ever?

if you still think so, then fair enough....

i certainly stood up off my couch when it happened, that's for damn sure

When they do the documentary of LeBrons career, that block will be the crescendo, the climax. They'll portray Iguana as the villan, the reigning fMVP who outshone LeBron the year before. Its LeBron making up for his failures.

As moments that grow in significance as time passes, there has been other moments like that, but to my knowledge, no block has been remembered in this manner.

Who knows. It was a huge momentum changer.

Shwan Kemp had a crazy block where he blocked it and simultaneously ripped the ball away with one arm. It was disturbing.
