Was it just me or did AS seem like didn't want to win.

He had Bisping dazed after the 3rd and easily could've went for the kill he didn't. He knew he was down on the score cards going into the 4th. and was content to stand against the cage and get tagged. Then he kicks Bisping with a front kick to the face and shows no urgency while he saw he was clearly rocked. He's a weirdo and I used to love to watch him Fight but he really disappointed me with that BS!

He definitely did WAY too much clowning in this fight, and his inactivity at times cost him.

Just you.......he wanted to win and thought he won at end of the 3rd round.

Anderson Silva won the fight.

Michael Bisping won the MMA sporting contest per the unified rules, and scored more points.

He didn't seem to upset either at the end of the fight.

I'm not saying he didn't want to win, but he seemed more content dancing around and looking for highlight reels. He tried throwing that elbow he KO'Ed Tony Frykland with.

Yeap....He was just happy trying to get Bisping to miss and mess around...and go for the highlight reel.....Bisping just didn't give him too many opportunities for that to happen though..but still...all of the Bruce Lee crap, the attempts at the funky elbows...who knows...But while watching this fight I seriously thought he just didn't care...

You can blame a mis-translation of the scoring system. Unfortunately, the Portuguese word for "aggression" is the same as the word for "dancing" and the phrases "octagon control" and "letting your opponent punch you in the face" are very similar. So, you can see why he thought he was winning.

You are not alone, myself and a lot of people I have talked to agree. I don't think Silva cares all that much any longer, his legacy is cemented forever and he has nothing left to prove. Paychecks are all he's interested now, I'm sure. Plus he probably feels sorry for Bisping getting screwed over all these years and no shot at the belt. The way the UFC gifts title shots, Bisping should have been the first gifted title shot and we all know Silva has wanted to fight Bisping in England for a long time now. Good for Bisping, he got wrecked but he got that W against one of the best ever, prime or not. I'm a huge Silva fan btw.

There was no fight. There was an MMA contest with set rules, and Bisping won.

Sorry to all the Silva fans who still want to believe the matrix is real, but he's a 40 year old counter striker who's never thrown high volume, hates to lead, and doesn't have the reflexes any more to consistently land those perfect counters. That's why Bisping beat him, just by throwing and landing more shots. It's getting kinda tragic, seeing the mental gymnastics of people trying to convince themselves that he's playing some kind of crazy meta game where winning isn't his goal any more.

Are we all suspending disbelief and pretending that Anderson wasn't getting his ass kicked in the first two rounds before the knee?

Bisping wobbled him in round 1 then dropped him like a sack of potatoes in round 2 and nearly stopped him. Then he has an insane brain fart in round 3 and takes a crushing knee to the head while looking the other direction at the referee.

It wasn't the same fight after that.

All the 'in the matrix' stuff was called out as BS when Chael Sonnen of all people 1-2 dropped him in their first fight. Then we saw Weidman crush him twice. Nick Diaz had a 5 round kick boxing match with him and left unscathed.

The mystery is over. The best guys mop the floor with Bisping and he was mopping the floor with Silva.

Meh, he's old. I didn't even watch the fight. Also the sport hasn't evolved past Silva before the new breed start saying that. He's just old. Young Silva beats Bisping easily.

He was toying with him and put a big bet on Bisping.

Getting hit 30+ more times means you lose.
Getting your shit pushed in to the point where your face is so disfigured that your mother wouldn't recognize you means more than being on the receiving end of a few pillow fists.

as people have said he wanted to have a high light knock out. he actually looked like he was having fun and thats what matters when youre to the point in your life where he is at. was a great fight that coulda went either way for the decision and i woulda been ok with either winning
