I was in a hectic environment and alcoholic beverages may have been involved.
However i swore every time i looked up magny was missing and hendricks was taking him down, and holding position well.
Magny had some submissions that didn't look all that close, i really don't understand how he won that even though hendricks still doesn't look the same.

    Yeah i forgot about that

I remember thinking Hendricks controlled the fight and made it very boring with his wrestling

Was surprised he didnt get the decision

Probably a little but who cares people used to bitch about GSP but at least he was active on the ground, every time Johnny got Magny down he literally did NOTHING.

Rd:1 Magny - landed a lot nice strikes standing, hendricks gets a take down midway through but doesn't do much and magny threatens with a submission
Rd:2 Hendricks - gets a takedown early and peppers him with ground and pound through out the round
Rd:3 Magny - Hendricks is tired, cant get the take down, lands a couple nice shots but magny with submission attemps and volume strikes wins the round.

    Pretty clear 29-28 for Magny.

When I think "robbed" I think of blatant poor judging, like Bisping/Hamill. Something that is just so obviously wrong that nobody can even understand the decision. I honestly wasnt that surprised that Hendricks took the loss, it just was a very close fight.

Robbed once again. I knew it. I was saying before fight was over. Judges gave a win to gsp. Then lawler. And they will screw him on magney too. Judges gave it to neil because of submission attempts but the attempts didnt look threatening to me. Hendricks in no pain and full of breath. He controlled a big majority of the fight. Takedowns big time. He was robbed for sure

It ws a boring fight, but only because whenever Hendricks got a take down he refused to try anything with it. He spent more time on top of his opponent defending and just trying to lay in guard than he did trying to mount an offense.

And it's not like Magny was turtling and just playing defensive on the bottom to make it hard for Hendricks to do anything like opponents used to do with GSP. Magny was working off his back, throwing up submission attempts, and strikes. Hendricks just flat out refused to actually fight outside of his takedowns. He lost the fight by trying to lay in someone's guard the entire fight instead of actually fighting.

It wasn't impressive but magny did enough to be more exciting than Hendricks

I thought he won 30-27. He slammed him several times in the 3rd and the last 10 seconds Magny elbowed him from guard and that must've won it for him? Judges are stupid

No, he did nothing to win.

He just control the wrestling part of the match.

While Magny control the standing, JJ, center of the cage and aggressiveness.

    deal with it.

Implying that positional control doesn't count towards judging? Wrong.

It was a close fight. If I were 3 judges I would have scored it 29-88 Neil, 29-28 Johny, 29-28 Neil.

Magny won two rounds via submission attempts and elbows to the head and body vs Hendricks' low output/laying strategy. Not that difficult to see.

implying that offense and aggression counts more than controlling well
