Diego from 2005-2009 never knew how to strike anyway and was never a knockaut puncher. Name 1 knockaut he has. Alvarez is a Top 5 LW of all time and a huge name on Aoki's resume. A better name than anyone Diego has.

Point is he almost always did get it to the ground. That's how good his offense was. Watch the fight again, and count the seconds he butt-scooted.

those guys would have gotten whipped in ufc. sherk wrestles all of them to death. florian beats all of them etc.

Sherk was 4-2 at LW (should have been 3-3, everyone knows he lost to Dunham). His record overall is padded asf. He had the chance to fight the best LWs at the time in Japan, but he decided to pad his record on the local scene until UFC offered him a title shot.

Aoki is a top 3 LW of all time. His resume speaks for itself.
