IMO no. Faber loss the title to MTB and then failed to capture the title against MTB. Aldo was a man on a mission and Faber was just another steeping stone.

Aldo vs Mendes II is the greatest FW fight IMO

About the quality of the fight, Aldo vs Mendes was the best FW fight for me... Such a good fight, with good display of hearth, agression and technic of both sides...

Aldo vs Faber was a one sided ass beaten... Faber got nothing for Aldo...

Best FW in history against former(and trully) LW champion... And was a close fight, Edgar is the only one that I see clearly winning two rounds against Aldo...
