Warm up rolls, and seeing spots

I am a healthcare professional
I am a nurse practitioner (currently doing pre med)

Based on the limited info that you have given it could be a couple things

1) could be nothing. just your body's normal response to position change

2) orthostatic hypotension
-basically when you quickly change position your body has difficulty compenstating and your brain does not get enough Oxygen. Consequently, you can get a quick spell of symptoms similar to what you describe.
-from your accounts you are young healthy individual + keep well hydrated, so this is less likely

3) some sort of non vision threathen optho(eye) problem
-could be early signs of vitrious humor detactment. Totally treatable and not really anything to be worried about (as long as you get treated)

It is most likely NOT

-a migraine (as it does not last and you do not actually really describe any typical, or atypical migraine like symptoms)

-retinal detachment (if your retina had truely detached, or was in danger of detaching, you would notice a SHARP decrease in your vision, and by now you would most likely be blind. Typically retinal detachment is from trauma and symptoms, such as blindness, happen right away)

I would recommend
-that you get a check up from your GP (family doctor)
-and that you get your eyes checked by an optometrist

let us know how it goes

I used to have this issue when was dehydrated, heat exhaustion or low on sugar energy.
