Really good prospect vs. prospect fight here. Covington has looked good coming out of ATT while Warlley is one of Brazil's brightest young prospects.

I'd think Covington would get a bigger name after he beat Mike Pyle on short notice.

Damn, one of those fights where you don't want to see either guy lose. Think Alves takes it.

I was on the edge of my seat when Pyle swept him in the third but it was short lived.

Damned good fight between up and coming fighters. Winner sheds that prospect tag.

  9. Warley is one aggresive mofo. Never set a pace u can't keep tho. Almost cost him against Jouban.

it'll be karma for the complete bullshit decision those joker judges gave him against Jouban.

Alves definitely should have gotten the loss against Jouban. Still enjoy his fights though, he's an incredibly talented, young prospect. I think he'll break top 10 eventually.

That's what a pre-lim fight is supposed to be look like. :)

As much as I should get excited for this fight because both are undefeated, I've never seen Colby fight so I should probably do my homework.

Sherdog: Where two guys who are each 3-0 in the UFC should be fighting against each other on the Prelims.

good idea, but 2 undefeated guys in against each other rather than building them both into prospects

He destroyed Anying Wang and Wagnao, but neither are UFC level fighters.

Pyle couldn't stop his takedown, although Pyle nearly finished him in round 3.

Winner will get a big step up in competition. Alves has way more tools to get the finish but Covington has all the ability to grind out the decision. Very solid matchmaking here.

    I'm still sore about that.

    But, yeah, Covington by LNP.
