Kind of random, but just happen to be watching some old Koscheck fights on fightpass and I gotta say its hard not to be a fan of this guy.

Always embraced the bad guy role, took the heat to make fights interesting even though Ive heard hes a nice guy in person

Adopted a stand and throw bombs style, despite being one of the top wrestlers in the division. He could have blanketed a lot more guys than he did, but he chose to knock their head off instead.

Didnt quit after having his eye completely FUCKED in the 1st round against a p4p GOAT in GSP. Went another 4 full rounds with out giving up, despite having to be in immense pain.

Yea he occasionally faked getting hit by an illegal shot, but owell lol

I never really saw much physical decline in him leading up to his retirement, it looked to me like he just got complacent. Didn't want to wrestle, didn't care to diversify his striking apart from the big overhand right. Still he became a household name in the sport, you have to respect that.

I was never a fan to say but I appreciate what he tried to do, despite what other fans might think of him. He knew that he had that type of personality and went with it.

I think it was post-GSP fight that turned things around for him (fans-wise).

I'll always be a Kos fan. I miss watching him fight.

I agree with his physical abilities not going away as much as his will to be there. It started with the Pierce fight. Also I still think he beat Hendricks pretty clearly

Dude was a very solid fighter. Stellar wrestling and nice power.

haha I seriously just watched the kos vs fickett fight on fight pass today. Hillarious, tres to lay and pray the entire fight gets dropped and choked out cold with thirty seconds left. loved it

that was four fights into his career lol, funny but cant be too hard on the guy when he was that green

Always been a big Kos fan! Hard not to be a fan because of the intense hate he brings out in people. Same goes for Bisping, who is also one of my favs.

Koscheck's mannerisms remind me a lot of this guy

Kos was the lamest "bad guy" ever. He looks like bozo the clown and wore fruity shit and faked injuries.

Chael Sonnen was a "bad guy". Kos was just an annoying nerd.

Disregard the weight discrepancy, he would be a good opponent for the eye poker.

I used to hate on him for being a general douche and trying to fake the illegal knee. But for some reason I want to see him go out on a good note. Maybe TUF1 nostalgia

Kos is one tough SOB.

Never liked his personality but he was a very good fighter.

Dude was really good. Still think he beat Hendricks back in 2012.

I strongly disliked the guy since TUF. Struck me as a bully full of his own self importance.

I very much enjoyed watching him - another 'rasssler' who learned to punch and thought he was god's gift to striking - get KTFO multiple times. (same went for Hughes, for the same reasons)

the reason why I dont respect Kos is beacuse he was supposed to be this monster ncaa champion wretsler but instead he got blanketed by a french-canadian karataken

Kos technically never faked anything either. Daley hits him with a short knee before the big one that missed and Rumble scraped his eye. sure they weren't as bad as he played off, but they were illegal.

Lawler and Hendo have done the same thing btw. shit, Hendo's performance from the "knee" delivered by Wanderlei would make Koscheck blush.

Kos was 100X the better bad guy. Shael was flat out painful to listen to.

But kids liked that poorly delivered WWE stuff i guess.
