When ever Dana would talk about Wandy being in the UFC HOF he always said he was a legend and he was an entertainer even when he lost his fight. HE even talked about his losing record inside the UFC but it seemed like he was debating on putting him in once he retired. That's all gone now.

rooting for the American Gangster vs Belfort

He was actually invited to a HOF induction ceremony bit he ducked it.

It also sounded like he would get a Chuck type position after he retired as well. Too bad for him. Shouldn't have accepted the fight in the first place then.

:icon_chee

If he gets it, Chael should be the one that announces him and has a speech in his honor :icon_lol:

VIACOM has big pockets they should start an MMA hall of fame. a real one. Start with Royce Gracie and work their way up. guys like Saku in Fedor need to be in a HOF, Frank shamrock as well.

Any Hall of fame without those gentlemen is an insult to the sport.

only HOF should be UFC version
the should put Fedor in UFC hof

like they will put Sting in WWE hof, despite only ever wrestled for diff companies

As long as Bonner makes it, that's all that matters.

he's come off badly in all this, but there's probably some reality tv distortion going on as well. Wanderlei is playing the heel very well. His accomplishments still stand and while he hasn't actually failed any drug tests, I'm not sure that matters anyway (see Stephan Bonnar).

Dana would quickly find a way to avoid any UFC fighter from accepting and induction once retired.
