Wand's crew is pushing for the muhammad ali act.

How is it that concentrating all the power of management into one organization is fine with you guys...

And boohoo that fighters will split into different organizations, people who are afraid of that are the people who didn't get to watch the PRIDE vs UFC days, or even when Strikeforce was getting bigger...

Competition between organizations is actually great for the sport and for the fans.

What confuses me is some of these guys are really vocal about free market, free competition, but when someone tries to break "his monopoly" they all start to cry...

The answer is simple, yet seemingly impossible. The only problem currently is that the UFC has very little competition. Competition between promotions helps the fighters get better contracts. Not only in money, but also in other aspects of the contract. The best possible outcome would be for another organization to grow big enough to be competitive with the UFC. Bellator had a chance, but Viacom is more interested in making money (understandable) than creating a real promotion. They’ll make money for a while, then the freak show fights will dry up and the novelty will fade. Next thing you know they’ll be contacting the UFC and negotiating a sale. The writing is already on the wall. WSOF is worlds away from competing, so you’re left with the UFC holding the cards when negotiating with fighters. It sucks, but you don’t cut off your foot if you have a sore toe.
