Wanderlei Silva sues Nevada State Athletic Commission for lifetime ban

I hope he gets some traction with this. Silva's name should be with the anti-trust suit as well.

Do you disagree? Commision meetings are set in advance and different cases are added. He knew they would hear his case at the following meeting after he came in and admitted he would have failed the test.

What are you on about? You think the meeting surprised him?

Edit: even Wand released a video before the hearing to retire. He obviously decided not to attend.

The contracts state that the UFC does not have to offer fights for the length of time that the fighter is under suspension.
 
Life ban is crazy harsh, you're basically saying this guy can't make a living. He can't fight anywhere, he was going to sign with Bellator to do promotion work (not fight) but he's still under contract with the UFC so they wouldn't let him. I'm not say what he did was right by any means but life ban is too much.

He didnt get a lifetime ban.
