Wand vs Hendo 3

Sorry if I missed it already, but does anyone else think this fight makes complete sense right now?

Wand is coming off of the huge KO of Stann (prob my fave moment of 2013 so far), and Hendo has dropped two in a row.

Good fight to have in Vegas or Japan, yea?

Yeah, I made a thread about this a few months back. I think it would be a fantastic fight. Everybody on that thread underestimated Wanderlei like they always do. Wanderlei is the last fighter in the world anybody should underestimate

I think that fight would look much like the first three rounds of Hendo vs. Shogun. Silva would just be asking to get viciously knocked out again. Silva will always be game, but that's a bad fight for him.

I disagree. Hendo is on a two fight skid and it's a chance to settle a trilogy.

Razor close decisions though. That factors in. Personally I had him winning the Rashad fight. Hendo's resume is far better than Wand's lately, and Hendo is far above Wand in the rankings. And Hendo already got the better of their battles cause he won the most recent one and also knocked Wand out cold whereas Wand could not finish him.

Henderson does seem like he's gotten a bit slower the last few fights. Could be a competitive battle. Wand would need to pick his spots and be as technical as he can be. Rushing into a toe to toe battle with Hendo would be suicide. If he played it smart he would have a chance at getting a decision by picking Hendo apart or possibly stopping him if Hendo were to gas hard. Would pick Hendo by KO if I was forced to choose though.

I would really only be interested in watching this one if it was a retirement fight for one of the fighters. Otherwise I would rather see them fight others they haven't before they do retire.
