I just bought a Vulkan Pro Light from Grapplers Connection (awesome customer service by the way). I like it a lot so far, except that the sleeves seem very, very short (it's an A1). Anybody else have this problem, or do I just have long arms?

I had one. Sleeves are ok. I would wish for a more tailored fit, 'cause it's very baggy for slim people (which was the reason I eventually sold it).

VERY baggy for slim people around the waist and the sleeves are too short for me too, i hate the fit. :/ I bought an A0, im 115lbs and 5'4 and it fit terribly..

Holy hell! BTW Grapplers connection is awesome, I'd still be doing that if it weren't for OSS

I've been serioiusly contemplating buying a Vulkan Pro when I visit the US. I'm 6'3'' 215 so I wonder what size I would wear?

Like 3-4 years ago everyone had to have one of these. I heard they were super comfortable but a little baggy and stretchy. At least thats what a lot of my training partners have told me over the years.

Baggy? Are you guys talking about the ultra light? I've heard they stretch out to the point people makes jokes about it having some spandex in it. Regarding the sleeves, the prolight has much less material to grab and is definitely more fitted vs sherdog's fav gi - shoyoroll. Vulkan Pro A2 vs. Shoyoroll A2...I feel like Im swimming in the shoyoroll.

If you guys think the prolight is baggy you should try the keiko raca limited. You'd probably think its made for Ronnie Coleman.

I'm confused, remarks seem to be about both the ultra light and the pro light. Hate the ultra light but the pro lite seems ok from what I've heard...

My pro light is awesome for a light weight gi. Like all ultra lights that cane out in 2006-2010 over time the collar gets warped.

With the advent of rip stop and lighter weight pearl weave gi's, this has stopped . Sadly vulkan has not evolved at all.

Vulkan's selves are a little shorter than most gi. It will stretch out after 10 minutes of rolling.

Is the Vulkan Pro Lite comp legal?

It is right, just vaguely recall someone say it isn't.

I have an 09 and a 10, A2, am 5'8" compete at feather. I was able to shrink the 09 to perfect, while the 10 is still big. The 10 is definitely baggy, but the 09 is perfect. No problem with sleeve length on either one. 100% comp legal, competed at Worlds with the 09 with no problem.

All in all, a cut that is more geared towards "fuller" people. My SYR's almost seem custom tailored in comparison.

I have it. I was 295 wearing an A3. I guess you skinny people can say it's baggy, but for me, the fit is just right. I slimmed down and it fit even better.

I ripped the pants twice. The first time, I fixed it backup. After the 2nd time, I placed some old white cloth and then stretched out the ripped area so it's not as tight and it's been fine.

It's a very comfortable gi. I like it a lot. It feels very good and very flexible, but the downside is that it's also very easy for people grab. People can get very good grips on you.

If you go with non-light gi, they are much stiffer and harder to grab. I like those because they give me more defense without me having to do anything.

My vulkan A2 pro light hasn't shrunk at all and is the biggest A2 I have out of 4 or 5 brands. The sleeves are the longest too!
