After last night's showing, I'm positive had Volkanovski moved up sooner and challenged Charles prior to Islam he would have beat the living shit out of him and fold him like a French fry. I think Volkanovski's performance exposes 155 in a lot of ways. Lightweight has gotten considerably weaker within the last few years. Guys like Charles, Beneil and many others have the same glaring holes in their games they've always had but the recent crop of talent has not been able to expose them like many if the great LWs of the past have been able to. This is why they've been able to rise so high in the rankings more so than any improvements. But, I'm open to debate

Lee was clearly losing that fight lol. Not a great idea to use an example of a fighter being down 0-2 on the scorecards and then getting tapped.

Not to mention that the only thing Lee had for Olivera was his top game, which did nothing as Olivera completely controlled him from his guard and beat him up standing. Volk and Lee fight nothing alike.
