Tyson lost a ton of fans as a result of that. He didn't gain fans back until later in life when he started taking responsibility for a lot the mistakes he made and apologizing to the people in life he had wronged.

Honestly, you're not wrong at all. I'll actually go ahead and say that with all my travels most of the people EVERYWHERE have been pretty cool. There are dickheads everywhere too but they're the minority. Us Americans are undeniably loud people. Midwesterners like me a little less so but even we are not quiet at all haha.

Honestly, I'd rather never see him fight again. I'm not joking.

If you gave me god-like powers and the choice between Jones being banned from the sport and never fighting again, and fighting Tom Aspinall and losing, at this point I'd rather honestly see Jon banned from the sport and never fight again.

He's obviously abused steroids throughout his career and had special UFC protection. He got less time for a 2nd offense than Frank Mir got for his first offense. He should have gotten 4 years for his Turinabol. He should be banned from MMA for beating his wife.

I mean I'm not justifying Jones' fuckups but it's hard to judge MMA fighters, and combat sports athletes as a whole for stuff they've done outside the ring, depending on what it was I suppose. So many combat sport athletes have criminal records etc, it's just worth remembering.

I'm a fan of what he's done in the cage that's for sure make no mistake.

I like the sport of MMA, and Jon is the least sporting MMA fighter by nature of his constant cheating.

Thankfully, we've all already seen Jon lose, and for extra karma points, it was directly through his cheating. Now, it is a shame he hasn't lost more, or been banned entirely as is deserved, but point is, the only thing to look forward to now is him leaving the sport forever

Gonna be real here... Analysis models and all said it was a very good fight. Tom pushed JJ, but JJ championship rounds proved what I said would likely happen. Tom Wass a threat in round 1 and 2 like Reyes... But JJ kicks, sidekicks, movements, clinches, stalled enough that he wasn't too hurt. Tom clearly took those rounds but like Reye did the first two... Tom landed one good like Reyes, but JJ chi held up just like vs Stipe...

The third round was a competitive round but clear JJ. One of the best rounds... JJ had more significant and landed a spinning elbow that for sure gave him the round.

Tom was tired in the 4th, so JJ almost finished with ground and pound.

Fifth Tom came back strong, he backed JJ with good shots, but JJ timed his entry, and landed meaningful clinch strikes and managed to get to the ground, threaten a sub, then a knee to Tom's liver. Tom threw good ones too, but JJ outstriked by 1 hit + his knee to the liver had the most impact and he had top control.

It was a very good fight it seems, and JJ was said to be just as good and with the same frame he had vs Stipe. Jon Jones 48 - 47 Tom Aspinall (UD win) ... Close but not controversial. Gus 1 and Reyes were closer.

Something like this. This one had only one swing round but that wasn't really a swing as JJ outstriked and controlled range, takedown for 1 minute, and impact was the same...

It wasn't much different from Ankalaev and Pereira 1 in the dominance level. JJ was like Ankalaev and Tom was like Poatan.
