Diego Lopes vs. Yair Rodriguez is right there. It has everything you need for a good match up. Volkanovski vs. Rodriguez 2 makes no sense. If Rodriguez beats Lopes then MAYBE we can talk about another title shot.

It's true but fans of this sport are week hearted, If it's a fighter they like they are okay with it, No one cares about legitimacy truly. Only when it's a fighter they don't like, only then does it matter.

Critics can't offer a better fight. but that's not critics fault though, you give umar a shot he doesn't deserve and make yan fight figgy for no reason and this is what you're left with. Give figgy the shot, have umar fight song and you could have had 2 fresh match ups. But like my above point, Legitimacy only matters when it's a fighter you dont want to see get a title shot.

Yair 100% does not deserve that fight. It would be even more annoying if he won because that just sends a clear message to every fighter on the roster that inactivity, pulling out, ducking and being selective is the best way to maximise your opportunity.
