I downloaded this game last night and I'm having a blast with it, but holy shit is it hard. You have one checkpoint in the middle of a level, but if you don't reach it you have to start over from the beginning when you die. And after the checkpoint even if your at the boss when you die you go all the way back to the checkpoint. It brings me back to playing those really difficult nes games when I was a kid.

You cant just grind through it. You have to remember the patterns of how the enemies come at you. From what I've read it's kind of a tribute to the old Arcade Game Rastan. It's only $10 and I would recommend it for any of you who grew up with games in the 8 and 16 bit eras.

And here is what Rastan looks like if you don't remember.

If you still own a Dreamcast the developers released a freeware ISO for it too,

$10 seems steep for a Steam side-scroller.. but I'd play it.

I don't use Steam and got it on X1. $10 is a normal price for a game like this, so I didn't think twice about it. The 360 has a shit ton of $1 indie games and there are some hidden gems in there for sure. I was kind of pissed that they didn't carry these over to the X1. Either way $10 is fair for this imo.
