Vladimir Putin on Immigration.

On February 4th, 2013, Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, addressed the Duma, (Russian Parliament), and gave a speech about the tensions with minorities in Russia:

"In Russia live Russians. Any minority, from anywhere, if it wants to live in Russia, to work and eat in Russia, should speak Russian, and should respect the Russian laws. If they prefer Sharia Law, then we advise them to go to those places where that's the state law. Russia does not need minorities. Minorities need Russia, and we will not grant them special privileges, or try to change our laws to fit their desires, no matter how loud they yell 'discrimination'. We better learn from the suicides of America, England, Holland and France, if we are to survive as a nation. The Russian customs and traditions are not compatible with the lack of culture or the primitive ways of most minorities. When this honorable legislative body thinks of creating new laws, it should have in mind the national interest first, observing that the minorities are not Russians."

The politicians in the Duma gave Putin a standing ovation for five minutes, gotta love Vlad.

Putin is alpha as fuck and couldn't be more spot on. Good on Russia for not having a sissy PC culture and actually sticking up for their values, beliefs, and ultimately, for their country.

It is and it's dumb anyways since Russia is controlling land that was Muslim in the first place. It is not like the UK where the Muslims are foreigners that aren't assimilating. Islam is a part of Russia and its history. For better or worse.
 
Close to the same speech given by 361 different Australian politicians that was circulating at one point.

There GDP isn't suffering because of immigration policy but because of economic sanctions as a result of Putin's behavior (whether right or wrong in acquiring Crimea). So yeah I don't see how a hurting economy which is NOT a result of his immigration policy can be used as a 'weapon' to bash his immigration policy or views. I think some western states with the exception of the U.S. and Canada who are built for immigrants can learn something from Russia's approach to immigration.
 
Russia is the last country America needs to be taking lessons from. America has done fine doing its own thing thank you.

Because of plummeting oil prices that made around 90% of their FE revenue, Russia is just a big Venezuela at this point.

Muslims are not immigrants in Russia. There are plenty of muslim countries in Russia, its just the same retardness coming from Israeli politicians trying to ignore the historical muslim population as if they were foreigners.

If Russia doesnt wants to deal with Muslims, it should give independence to muslim countries.


Its not that i disagree with the speech, but that speech would make sense in western europe or america, not Russia or Israel.
 
Round of applause. If you live and move into a country you must follow rules. If you disobey deportation. :icon_lol: Discrimination is a hilarious rebuttal by foreigners. Go back home if you can't adapt. Most nations nowadays are overrun by the minorities that don't follow any rules and create their own as the "business" plan is of more importance.
