Sorry but there is no reason he should ever be over the limit, and the fact that it took him 2 weeks to get below the limit is a good explanation of how far over he was since Steroids have a short time in the body, all his clean tests afterwards are worthless considering he could have been taking the tests in between injections.

Sorry but this confirmed the already known but not known fact that Vitor is a cheater whose been cheating the system, he's going to be suspended for a year, sure he might have been fun to watch, and unlike Dan Henderson who can't even make 205 in a full camp anymore, Vitor does have the power of Cheezits ( which should also be monitored and regulated because i feel it gives fighters like him and Yoel an unfair advantage ), but i doubt Vitor will be the same decapitating lion without all that testosterone, lets not forgot, not now only will Vitor not have an abundance of Testosterone, he'll barely have any, which i guess is justice in it's own right.

According to brazil he could take TRT

According to Nevada he couldnt

You cant just stop TRT on the dot because it will fuck you up so some fucked up results are to be expected

cuase trt = steroids.... yes. Good in depths and medical analysis. Would read again.

PS dont start another thread ever pls.

Lmao, you realise it was a surprise test, and he tested OVER the limit, not the ones he was taking to prove it was out of his system the 1s he organised.

The whole I. Only had an injection yesterday is bs,yes it can spike you over, but your a pro athelthe, you would expect a doctor who understands your situation would give you a lesser dose so you were within your limits at all times.

Also loved vitors lil statement about how he doesn't have anything to hide, but refused to admit he was taking trt for a year, then hides his failed drug test for 4 months.

Even on TRT he was outside the acceptable limits. TRT is supposed to help people with deficiencies return to normal levels, not jack people up above the normal range. He fucked up.

I don't think his therapeutic dose would put his levels insanely high, even if he took the shot the day before

A proper TRT dose should be approximately 125 mg of testosterone injected weekly, although 100 mg every 5 days is ideal. Blood levels on a proper TRT dose should put the patient on the high side of the normal range of natural testosterone levels.

So a "normal" dose can put you above the "normal" range of testoterone. So what Vitor is claiming is "normal"!

the levels wernt extremely high, he was a bit over!

you hit the nail right on the head, finally someone who posts what trt is actually really suppose to do.

if your trt levels are abnormally low then trt replacement is meant to bring your levels to the normal range for your age.

an educated, and reliable doctor would know this and enforce this on his clients.

yes you can take higher doses that would give you above normal levels but that would be carelessness from the doctor, or deliberately done by both the athlete on there own or possibly the doctor he goes to which would be like taking steroids to increase performance, muscle size, ect.

bottom line is taking trt properly is intended to put you at normal levels, vitor takes it so his is above normal to have that edge...imho he relies on trt to perform and in many ways comes off as a cheater and someone who is not willing to play by the rules.

also who cares if brazil lets you take it, he shouldn't be taking it at all no matter what country he fights in.

you can't start taking it for long periods of time and then find out you have a fight in 4-6 months in the US and just stop...going on and off will eventually throw his body out of wack and allows him to get caught more easily....if trt is banned the country they reside in shouldn't determine that they can take it temporarily then stop before a fight is scheduled where its banned.

fighters should be penalized for taking it period no matter where they are or living. if you take it during your off time or rest time by still active on the roster and potentially have fights lined up then as an active fighter with the ufc then users of trt should be disciplined. if vitor was not with the ufc and not active then he can do what he wants but knowing your sport and the organization you work for is against it and has banned it shouldn't make it acceptable to take it because where you live or reside has different regulations on trt.

plus vitor has got caught in his lies about using it, he needs it so much that if he can't perform without it then its time to pack it in and stop fighting.

you allmost hit the nail with your post. You forgot to mention the diminishing nature of TRT. You take 1 dose per week, then you go from "high" normal level of testosterone to "low" normal level within that week.

Like i said before a proper TRT dose should be approximately 125 mg of testosterone injected weekly, although 100 mg every 5 days is ideal. Blood levels on a proper TRT dose should put the patient on the high side of the normal range of natural testosterone levels.

So being a bit over the limit, like he was. 1 Day after he shot up isnt something out of the ordinary. Take in account he had a TUE from the commision he fought under previously. Just not with the NSAC and he was gonna be filing for one. So he had every right to take TRT. + If he is clean now it shouldnt matter what his past results were. Its like banning water tomorrow and banning everyone who ever drunk it while fighting in the past. Doesnt make sense!

trt was nothing but a loophole for roiding.

look at how many of these young godlike athletes in MMA who apparently suffer "low test"

i called this shit from the start.

I'm not an expert. Does anyone know what the levels of Testosterone are usually at when people get caught? It sounds like he was slightly over.

sorry but he's been on it for years, and should know how much he needs to stay within the limits, according to this theory his been above the normal levels for the majority of his time on it

Just the talk of this is ridiculous. Its very simple, stop doping period. If your too old and cant compete naturally, retire. All this talk of natural levels etc. is stupid. Not everyone's body is the same. That don't mean you take drugs to be the best to have a physical advantage. Next thing you know we will dig people up, clone them with DNA and shoot them with crack and see who wins
