Vitor on TRT: "NBA, NFL and MLB has it. Why not MMA?"

TRT is allowed in those sports?

No, it's not on any meaningful level, and nobody has ever even tried to apply for a TUE for boxing in Nevada, California or New York.

The fact that it was mainstream in MMA is laughable.

If that's the case wouldn't other guys taking it be on long winning streaks or have a championship? I think if vitor was faster and stronger the jones fight would have been no problem for him, Chael would have beat up jones for 5 rounds and unified the middle weight and light heavyweight titles,

Hendo would have H-bombed lyoto and rashad, shogun wouldnt have made it past the 2nd round in the first fight and his fight with vitor (trt vs trt) would have looked like a 5 round action movie showtime kicks and everything, and Mir would have put on a boxing clinic against JDS lol but none of those things happened.
Trt is not some magical drug otherwise the whole ufc roster would be taking it.

What the hell are you babbling about. Sonnen went from a journeyman who had already washed out of the UFC up through 2008, when he started TRT, and then went on the best run of his career, beating Filho, Marquardt, Okami, etc. on his way to the two Anderson fights, and then throwing in wins over Bisping, Stann and Shogun later on.

Henderson is still fighting at a high level at 43 years old, was a champion in Strike Force when it went out of business and was next in line for a shot at Jones until he got hurt in training. (Also, using his loss to Rashad as an example of TRT not making a difference is a swing-and-a-miss since he wasn't on TRT for that fight.)

Obviously TRT is providing a benefit for the fighters who are doing it, or they wouldn't be willing to jump through all the hoops and the additional tests required to do it. Like an PED, TRT is going to reap benefits to some degree for a fighter, but the end results will be largely dictated by the individual fighter himself. Vitor was already an elite fighter, so allowing him to fight with the use of a PED is going to result in a higher ceiling than letting, for example, Sonnen do the same.

Yea im racist one cause I said people weren't bitching as much about trt until vitor started knocking white fighters out if im wrong trt would have been banned before he even fought jones.

he finishes 2 fighters ( one Japanese, one black guy) both in the first round there was no problem before and loses to jones no problem after until he finishes 3 white fighters and is about to challenge for the title against

Weidman whose a white fighter all of a sudden its a problem then "he's a cheater" trt is banned while other fighters have used the same thing but they are called american hero's because they are white tell me how Im wrong if this is not the case.

Well, if you're not a racist, you're still a liar. Because this forum when apeshit on Sonnen about TRT 4 years ago. To this day there are still people who insist Sonnen's testosterone levels were 17 X that of a normal man for the first Anderson fight.

Bitch please. Tell me that you're not seriously claiming that hardcore MMA fanboys, who have a fucking fetish for Brazilian fighters, are biased against Vitor.

The reason that he's been scrutinized for TRT usage is because he's been a known roid abuser his entire adult life. If he actually does have low test, it's due to prior steroid abuse. The notion that he should get a doctor's note to roid because of the damage done to his body from previous cheating is laughable.

People didn't complain after he beat Akiyama or Johnson because his body hadn't transformed yet, and it wasn't even revealed to the public that he had a TRT exemption until after he lost to Jones.

And for the record, I feel the exact same way about Henderson and Sonnen. The fact that anybody has the nerve to call Hendo "the American GOAT" is outrageous to me. The biggest wins of his career came when he was on test. Without the gear, he probably would have retired years ago.

I wish he would stop calling his need for testosterone a disease, like asthma or diabetes. He doesn't have a disease. He abused PED's at a young age and is paying the price. Diabetes and Asthma are real, Vitor's disease is made up, by Vitor.

low T disease bullshit.

He shouldn't need TRT because Jesus was the reason why he was winning right?

I didnt come on these forums until last year so idk what alot of people talked about before but Ok you bring up the first anderson and chael fight if his levels were that high why didnt they just ban it then or prohibit him from using it ever again since he had taken advantage of using it instead he was allowed to use it again in a rematch with anderson until they completly banned it this year.

Why has it taken them years to ban it when until Vitor will fight for a championship against weidman even though he did steroids in the past there wasn't proof he misused trt like Sonnen did but he gets more hate for it cause he's Brazilian.

Oh gosh dudes calling other dudes bitches real tough. And what is a " hardcore mma fanboys" wouldn't that make you one since your posting on a mma forum calling dudes bitches and everyone knows vitors past if it was a big issue then why not allow him to use trt in the first place. anyways vitor is pissed because fighters been using trt for years but once he starts using it and wins a couple matches people have a problem then.

The NBA and MLB are poor examples because they arent out trying to knock someones head off.

Maybe, but with baseball you're still trying to smash a ball with a stick and send it flying across a stadium at speeds roughly equal to a car on the highway.

It takes years for any government entity to do anything. That's both good and bad in this case as, on one hand, the government tends to drag its feet and rarely accomplish anything. On the other, though, in a matter dealing with health and medical treatment, snap judgments probably shouldn't be made. Further, although it didn't get as much attention, California effectively banned the use of TRT a year ago.

Also, Vitor doesn't get more hate for TRT because he's Brazilian, he doesn't "get more hate" overall at all. He's getting more hate right now because he's relevant and in the title picture, and Sonnen isn't. Sonnen was getting just as much hate at the time of the two Silva fights as Vitor gets now.

Finally, this wasn't an "all of a sudden" thing like the Vitor defenders/apologists try to make it seem. When Sonnen popped after the first Silva fight, that was the introduction of many, if not most MMA fans, to the use of TRT in the sport. And he got a ton of shit. From there, it seemed like a snowball effect where every other week some new fighter was on TRT. There was Hendo and Mir and Forrest and Rampage. There was Todd Duffy looking like a super hero and somehow needing TRT in his mid-20s. Then there was Nate Marquardt needing TRT, and then getting fired when his skewed test results screwed up a main event, and then saying he was going off of TRT. There has been a ton of controversy over the use of TRT for the last four years, with people coming down on both sides. There has also been increased media attention on the use of TRT over the past few years. Dana White came out more than two years ago and said he wanted TRT banned. As I mentioned above, California effectively banned TRT "until further notice" last year.

So to say everything was peachy with TRT until Vitor was going to challenge a white champion is complete crap.

Release the results of your last test, until then your opinion means nothing.

Nobody is cracking on Todd Duffee who isnt even 30 for needing it. Hendo is on it. Mir is on it. Chael was getting flamed to no end now its all good in the hood.

Didn't like Shogun say he needed it as well? But for some reason its the only reason Vitor has been kicking the souls out of people lately.

TRT and illegal back of the head blows. All the Vitor haters have.

If he wasnt getting the results he was he wouldnt be defending it as strongly as he is. Obviously it gives him a considerable boost.

He says he feels like an animal without TRT, but still complains about the ban.

Lol what about the other day when you said you don't need TRT because the Holy Spirit boosts your testosterone, Vitor?

Keep changing your story. It's funny as hell.

Release the results of your last test, until then your opinion means nothing.
Exactly. If he says he was never dirty, then show the fucking results.

Also, he probably got all juiced up on TRT and tried to cycle off of it before the fight and when they surprise drug tested him, he failed the test so badly that he didn't want anyone to see the results.

what he says makes perfect sense, but since its him saying it everyone bitches about it. wether he used in the past or not, if it were someone else not seen as a sort of loon around here, they might actually pay attention to the reasons given. its not that difficult, people are just stupid.

Vitor said he doesn't need TRT because the Holy Spirit boosts his testosterone. He just said this the other day. He also said he feels like an animal without TRT.

If the Holy Spirit gives him all the testosterone he needs, then why is he complaining?
