In before haters accuse Vitor of hypocrisy by citing his recent LHW title shot. Just to be clear, that was because Vitor was the only one willing to step up on short notice for UFC 152
Old news
I for one wouldnt mind seeing Anderson vs Vitor 2
Vitor has a chance in beating Anderson, Bisping has no chance.
Vitor is not saying he should be getting a title shot. He is saying he doesn't have much to say, except that title shots have been awarded on the basis of political reasons rather than fighting merit. This applies to Chael vs. Sonnen, and Diaz vs. GSP. I don't think it's overall true as a diagnosis, since most title fights are warranted. But Vitor is not saying he should be getting a shot or that Bisping is only getting one on the basis of political reasons.

That's fair enough. I don't thinking beating Bisping necessarily means title shot for Vitor. He did get finished against anderson, after all. Maybe Vitor/Weidman or Lombard for a shot.I agree with Vitor, everyone should.
I also think he should have to win one more time after Sat to get another shot.
If Belfort did not have the opportunity at Jones, I would have agreed with him, but as of late, many contenders have done far less than Bisping and have received a title shot. At least Bisping is a legitimate middleweight and with a victory over Belfort, will have a decent case for Silva.
Vitor now complaining that he won't get a title shot...
...I think Vitor/Silva 2 is a highly marketable fight (especially in Brazil). I wouldn't mind seeing the rematch....
When you lose in the type of devastating fashion Vitor did it's gonna take some time for you to get another title shot. I think Weidman should have the shot over Bisping even with a win here, but assuming Belfort takes this, then Weidman slots right in, and that's exactly what should happen.
That's true, and while you could say both got caught, Cain had a path to victory that we didn't have enough time to see whether or not it would be effective. Vitor's just gonna stand with Anderson again, and I'm not sure if anyone beats him standing. Also, JDS was only like -200 against Cain. Anderson would be at least double that in a rematch with Vitor.Cain got a title shot beating a guy who had already lost in another org and was making his debut. Cain also lost to Jds in devastating fashion. Yet he owned Jds in the rematch.
Yeah if he destroys Bisping he has an argument for sure, but I'd still put him behind Weidman, and since I'd give Weidman the next shot I'd give Belfort one of Rockhold, Jacare, Lombard (should he beat Okami), with that winner getting the next shot.I'm not saying he will own Anderson, but if he destroys Bisping he will have a point.
