Every single one of his losses have been TOP quality competition and champions and HOF's. He's never dropped a fight against a mid tier opponent. Ill be surprised if bisbing beats him, he only loses to top quality fighter which i dont believe Bisbing is at yet.

His losses = Jones, Silva, Henderson, Chuck, Tito, Overeem, Randy, Saku.

All off those fighters were better fighters and would beat bisbing at similar stages in Bisbings career, but bisbing also loses to mid tier competition. (wand currently, :icon_sad:)

All Bisping has to do us avoid getting hit for the first 2 minutes, then he can coast to victory. All the TRT and Vitor still has shit cardio, it will be his downfall in this fight.

Yes, I posted this in a previous thread:

FACT: Vitor Belfort has never lost a fight to anyone who was not a champion in a major org at one time. Moreover, it is safe to assume that Vitor's only losses have came by opponents who are either current or future MMA HOFers.
    • Anderson Silva
    • Jon Jones
    • Dan Henderson
    • Alistair Overeem x2
    • Chuck Liddell
    • Tito Ortiz
    • Randy Couture x2
    • Kazushi Sakuraba in '99
Indeed, Vitor does have 10 losses, but absolutely every single defeat in his MMA career has been to the MMA elite. Not too bad actually. What's more, save for AO (who wasn't a slouch at LHW) the losses to these HOFers and future HOFers all occurred in the prime of their careers. Sakuraba in '99, Tito, Chuck, & Randy in their prime, Hendo in his prime, and of course JBJ and Anderson in theirs.

Judging Vitor by his record is like trying to compliment Alan Belcher on his Johnny Cash (?) tattoo -- it cannot be done. Much like Belcher's tattoo, Vitor's record is an enigma; however, in stark contrast to Belcher's ink, w/ Vitor's record you can at least understand the how and the why of the situation.

Belfort has fought a lot of great guys.

Vitor by KO... Bisping is way overrated.

He would probably have lost to Rumble had the fight been anywhere other than Brasil.

Stupidest thing I've read in awhile.

Vitor can win early by stoppage, or easily win a UD.

ooo, this is fun. Let me try...

Fact: Vitor loses to every top fighter he faces. EVERY SINGLE ONE. The biggest choke artist in mma history

Fact: Vitor only beats irrelevant, unranked fighters, typically via illegal strikes (rumble - unranked, akiyama - unranked, terry martin, matt linland, rich franklin...all irrelevant in their respective divisions. Theres no mark munoz, boetsch, okami, belcher, even a palhares to be seen in his resume

Fact: Brian Stann is a better win than any in vitors career (certainly better than any in the past 3 years

Fact: Vitors claim to fame is a) winning a tourney against a guy who'd never competed in mma prior to that night. and b) "winning" the lhw title when he missed a punch and loose stiching from his glove scratched randys eyelid. and when presented the belt responding "i dont want this"

Fact: Bispings TUF championship is more relevant than vitors whatever championships

    good guy tho

You think Stann is a better win than Franklin? Are you fucking high?

Not to mention Vitor actually finishes fights.

And under NO circumstances is a TUF championship more coveted than a UFC title.

Suggested that Vitor can win a 5 round decision against someone with a very high work rate doesn't exactly make one sound intelligent. Vitor has a chance in this fight, but after 5 minutes that chance diminishes greatly.

So which one of these following four fighters isn't "TOP quality competition and champions and HOF's": Rashad, Hendo, Wanderlei, Chael.

The fact is that every single one of them has been rank number one or two in their weight classes at one or numerous points in their careers. All are arguably HOF'ers as well.

I think bisping high volume boxing style is perfect for vitor. Everytime he throws those pitter patter combinations is a high chance for a strong counter from vitor and he will ko bisping just like he did to rich Franklin

Saying that Bisping only has to not get knocked out for 2 minutes, then he has the fight in the bag is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

At this point in their careers, I'd say that Stann is a bigger win than Franklin. If you asked that question when Rich was in his prime then of course the answer would be no.

I'm betting on Vitor, but age catches up with everybody eventually. At some point, he will start losing to mid-tier guys, and I wouldn't be surprised if it started with Bisping.

Franklin of 09 is a better win than Stann at any point in his career. Especially considering Vitor put him the fuck out, didn't win a UD.

    Pllllllease
