Vitor Belfort Reveals He Fought Lyoto Machida Injured At UFC 224

Was he blind?

Cause even if he had 7 healthy knees, he was getting front kicked in the jaw that night.

You must have not seen him at the open workout with his seeing eye dog.

Yes, Vitor Belfort is legally blind.

Give him two months Vitor is gonna look like the dude who kicked rockhold in the face and he's gonna be fighting in rizen or bellator lol. Try Belfort is back baby lol.

He's not trained to block take headkick coming up into his chin.

According to this report by Combate, Vitor Belfort fought at UFC 224 with a serious knee injury.

In the first week of training camp in Canada, during a sparring session, Belfort kicked and ended up stretching his knee. The tests showed that the 41-year-old suffered a Grade II lesion in the left medial ligament, pushing him away for two weeks. After consultations with three doctors, who discouraged him to fight, the Brazilian decided to continue on, despite not being able to kick and do ground workouts throughout the camp.

I could see where having a bad knee gets you kicked in the face... Velasquez supposedly had a bad knee against Dos Santos and it caused his skull to cave in from an overhand right.

Either pull out of the fight beforehand or fight and never blame the injury if you lose. Bringing it up after the fact is lame.

The reason for his recent losses is he got old plus was denied the ability to medically cheat. Enjoy your retirement but shut up.

Im sure Machida was injured also. He did bring it up though because he won, right?

Vitor knew true MMA fans here on sherdog would appreciate him fighting anyway like a warrior instead of pulling out

...

Wasn’t that the same knee that cost him against spider?
