I agree.. I mean, we haven't heard the otherside. I'm sure it was hectic for UFC executives, and they were trying to solidify one as oppose to just saying random names to Mousasi and his management. Gerard seems to have felt very out of the loop though based on his comments, and it looks bad on the UFC. Also, if they had Belfort accepting the fight on short-notice, then why wouldn't they throw him in?? Most logical explanation is the financial side, but that would have garnered much more attention then now having two fighters headline a card who the mainstream hasn't a clue as to who they are... A win now for Gerard means nothing because he'll still have to prove himself against a top fighter to get any sort of recognition.
