Visualizing the technique thrown before executing it?

- Is this something you guys do at all levels (beginner, intermediate, expert)?

- Does it indicate that the moves aren't automated yet, or is it how you actually should do it?

I think we should always be thinking about what we're going to do next and we should always be disguising our intent.

Drills. I have found that if I have a reference point, a vizualisation of the technique thrown properly in still print, it helps my own delivery, than if I don't have a reference at all and just try to put one foot in front of the other. Do you understand what I mean?
 
I should be more specific that it's just a photograph that I've seen and recall when throwing the kick. How the hips are opened, the body posture, etc. Trying to incarnate the spirit of that exact kick looked like thrown properly.
