They are going to try and paint all issues involving white people with this brush. It's like calling a every rally of black people a bunch of gang-bangers.

State law does, as does the prohibition of the governor to use this authority in this way.
Can you admit the governor is breaking the law here?
Should have spent that money on an increase in ER staff. Guessing we will see more deaths, and injuries than arrests.
You can see this disaster coming from 10 miles away.
These people are not going to disarm.

This protest/rally a response to the Govenor trying to infringe on rights and ban guns...
As pointed out here
And here
"Emergency services and disasters; constitutional rights. Provides that nothing in the Emergency Services and Disaster Law shall be interpreted to limit or prohibit the otherwise lawful possession, carrying, transportation, sale, or transfer of firearms."
The people have the right under Virginia law to do exactly what is being restricted and what you are stating isn't an infringement.
Saying "They're not coming to peacefully protest. They are coming to intimidate and cause harm," is about as onesided as you can get.
When a citizen says stuff like this they're a presumptuous piece of shit. When a Governor says and acts upon something like this, it's enacted fascism.
They'll eventually make it that to get the guns away from us and secure their power. That's what governments do.Yeah. This is bigotry based on race. Not concern over the firearms.
There is nothing in the constitution that guarantees open carry or the right to carry anywhere you want. It only guarantees you the right to own a firearm.
It's gun owners upset that Virginia's government is now fully controlled by dems. They have not and cannot infringe on constitutional rights. They can however through proper channels change state law. The part of your post in bold says "Constitutional rights", not state law. Open carry is not a constitutional right.
Especially in countries with strict gun laws like Brazil and Honduras.Murica, is normal. People die from gun violence.
tHeY aRe fIgHtInG fAsCiSm!!So basically every Antifa rally over the last few years...

They might not be mutually exclusive in the abstract, but in any particular case they certainly are. What of they aren't mutually exclusive, and idiots like this governor are why.....
Where are the calls for him to step down? Wasn't he deemed a racist in the autumn?
Just because it isn't permanent?
That's a wierd line of thought to me.
I think part of the reason people are losing it over this is cause of what led up to it.Not only because it's temporary, but also because it's confined to one location. It'd be like if the President put a moratorium on oil drilling at one oil site and then someone posted "POTUS signs executive order banning oil drilling". Or giving special health insurance to 9/11 first responders that the first responsers don't have to individually pay for and posting a thread title "Trump signs law giving Americans free healthcare." etc
umm... no. keep and BEAR arms.
hurr durr.
...please stop pretending to talk about law.
