Honestly I thought Dan was out worse in the 2nd fight against Shogun and that wasn't stopped.

It seems like some people get even angrier when Vitor knocks people out and he is off the TRT. Before it was the TRT unfair advantage argument, which I can agree with. But now, the hate is just completely unjustified.

What you should do is laugh at the haters who apparently thought Vitor wasn't good anymore, which is obviously not the case. He is a contender with or without TRT, but implying that it didn't help substantially is naïve.

You know, the problem with the stoppage is right after his arms went limp, Dan snapped back to consciousness. If the ref had not been so close and all over it the fight might have gone a little longer. Either way, it was over.

At first I was upset with the stoppage, but after the replay the ref did the right thing.

He did not know that Dan was going to come back so quick, and was doing the right thing trying to prevent injury. You don't want a guy like Vitor having 3-5 seconds to pound on you while unconscious.

Dan was also off TRT. And old/slow. Let's see flabby Vitor vs Rockhold part 2. See if the headkick lands again. I'd be very surprised.

I can get on board with this opinion. But, like you said, Dan went limp. That's all it takes. A very professional stoppage by the ref, imo. I applaud that stoppage.

We must have a difference of opinion in the meaning of the word "contender". Beating Hendo (imo) does not make you a serious contender.
