I think they thought they can give a good sized role to mildly pretty actress and she doesn't have to do anything sexy and get another good looking actress for tiny role they can get away with putting the Rock's distant relatives in the movie and it'll be big.

I don't recall other FF movies being good for comedy. The Hobbs Shaw movie didn't have enough cool sexy cars. Just the one McLaren 720S and a beat up tow truck. The whole movie seemed really poorly thought out like some pimple poppin' teenager wrote it.

The other ones had a lot of comedy with Tyrese, ludacris, the two spanish guys. Don't get me wrong you don't go watch the movies for the comedy but it was there and it was something I noticed missing right away.

I thought the movie had an interesting idea with the whole AI\Augmented human angle but the delivery was just horrible.

That's actually the only FF movie I didn't watch because the whole cast was gone and I hated lil bow wow with a passion at the time.

First one is okay. It's just like a less good version of Point Break with cars instead of surfing.

3 is alright. The main actor kinda sucks but the series is still about racing at that point.

What I liked about 3 was how willing the Japanese were to sign onto it and spread their culture, as opposed to getting offended.

You've got Sonny Chiba, Keiko Kitagawa and dozens of other Japanese actors, and KEIICHI MOTHER F'N TSUCHIYA AND HIS 86 all making appearances.

Not to mention the Veilside RX-7 aka the Asa Akira of car porn. Ohhhh baby I gotta stop typing halfway now.

Part 1 is basically Point Break with racing instead of surfing.
Part 2 is Bad Boys with a white guy as Will Smith but I repeat myself

It’s pretty common knowledge that tyrese has nothing else going for him besides the ff franchise, he even threw a fit and said as much when the Rock went on to do Hobbs and Shaw because he thought it was going to hold up another ff (maybe he’s right, not sure what they had planned) but it seems pretty clear that he would be biased based on these reasons alone

This is the first time I come across this footage of Vincente Gasolina, also known as Vin Diesel, not only harrassing some Brazilian interviewer, but being annoying and cringy as fuck while doing it.

Vincente makes Henry Cejudo look like a cringe amateur. He is undoubtedly the KING of CRINGE !

Whats even crazier is that woman isn't even beautiful wtf she has a weak jawline and looks like the typical nerdy girl you see around. Vin wtf man.

I went over the top like both these guys movies. Not my fault. Rocky could have very well fucked Vin’s wife for all we know.

This is true. On the other hand The Rocks spin off FF was fucking horrible. Like even worse than just the normal FF movies. They removed all the comedy from the movies and while I'm sure they thought they replaced a lot of the comedy they didn't. First time I just wanted to turn off an FF movie instead of just enjoying the mindless action that these movies provide. Didn't do as well at the BO I think either.

I do like Vince as an actor though even before FF. The one where he's a mob guy testifying was great.
