    Hey everybody,

I'm not sure if I'm putting this in the right thread, but heres a video of me and my friend rolling around at my home gym.

He fights mma, I've done grappling tournaments and will fights soon. I've just seen a lot of knowledgeable people on this board and would like any and all critique. I'm not fishing for comments just looking for any general critique if you guys don't mind.

I need a lot of work on my boxing as well. I'll try and post some vids of sparring if I get any decent critiques.

    the other day

1st vid the big guy let the litle guy control his head way way way to much and he also didn't seem to move when the little guy did, he would wait for the little guy to move and then once he moved to his next position then the big guy would react.

Meaning if your opponent starts to scramble, ride, transition, you should be countering that with movement as he is moving, not after he already gets where he wants.

I know its tough againts a little guy who is faster and better.

    im actually the little guy,

the bigger guy is the one who fights mma, and he is doing pretty good. Hes one of my best training partners and durable as hell.

Thanks for the critique though man

from what I can see the smaller guy moves well but he is disengaging with his hips far to much. Dont be afraid to put those knees on the ground in the north south position or when you're passing. If you keep your base lower and your hips tighter it will be much more difficult for the big guy to recompose or go to his knees.

    Good fluid movement, good training.

Nice work. Just a tip: don't cross your legs when you are armbarring.

thank you for all the tips everybody,

i guess one area i need more work on is half guard and guard passing, specifically splitting the legs open
