We live in an era of professional MMA [especially in the UFC] where accurate statistics like arm reach can and do matter greatly when a fan or person who gambles on the sport researches any given matchup. That said, does there exist video footage of UFC or Bellator or state athletic officials measuring a fighter's arm reach? It would be interesting to critique any potential footage as it would explain the incredible discrepancies that we've all probably noticed in past PPVs...

They can't even get the height and weight correct for the love of god....

Which fight was it that was billed almost like a wrestling match.... Brock vs Carwin? They were both seriously inflated to seem much bigger than their actual size.

I'm talking actual video footage of an official using a means of measuring [think tape] a fighters' reach. I know from experience that this can be a easy stat to get wrong [flex in the measuring tape, misplacement etc.]

This video confirms the disparity of the UFC's stats! The official measured Conor's height as "71 [inches]" that's 5 feet 11! Conor is closer to 5' 10 at the very most. The arm reach was believable at 72 inches, but still...
