This was awesome! While I am familiar with Valerie's record/past opponents, I didn't know the stories behind those fights, or her struggles with severe injuries. Even though JJ is my pick, I've said from the beginning that Valerie will be JJ's toughest title fight to date.

I actually think it will be easier because she's not worried about takedowns. She's fighting a girl that WANTS to stand with her. I don't think that ends well.

Valerie Letourneau out struck a boxing world champ and an Olympic boxing trainer. At the least she should be competitive with JJ.

She's also a purple belt in BJJ. It wouldn't surprise me if she went for a take down at some point in the fight.

This isn't a resume contest. We're talking about Moroz and Rakoczy, and no one thinks JJ would have a problem with either.

Why do you think JJ would have no problem with Moroz? Just because JJ dominated some blown up atomweights it doesn't mean she will beat everyone in the division.

Come to think of it, I don't think JJ would have an easy time with Rakoczy either, she may have a bad MMA record, but all her losses came from offensive grappling. Something JJ lacks.

Despite her credentials, Moroz is very predictable fighter; almost all her attacks start from the same side and have the same rhythm and speed. She also gets lazy when attacking, she doesn't get her head off-line and she hangs around in range after finishing a combo instead of pivoting off or getting back out of range. This was why Valerie was able to drop her despite her speed disadvantage, she was able to figure out the pattern, time the openings, and crack her with counters.

JJ would have a field day against Moroz, it would be another JJ striking clinic. With the speed, power, and timing that JJ has, she'd lay Moroz out cold.
