VIDEO - Rafael Dos Anjos Losing His first MMA Debut Fight!

Discussion in 'UFC Discussion' started by MixedMartialArt, Feb 17, 2016.

  1. Here is a flashback to Rafael Dos Anjos' first MMA fight in the year 2004. He lost that fight via split decision against Adriano Abu. You can see in this video that RDA never quits..i don't believe that McGregor will knockout Dos Anjos.

The fight with McGregor will go for full five rounds. Thoughts?

Just because he took some shots from an unknown more than a decade ago doesn't mean he is going to do well against a world champion.

Mystic Mac by TKO, but i agree it won't be a walk in the park

I just remember Jeremy Stephens decapitating him, sending his head through the roof of the arena figuratively. He most definitely know the feeling of being knocked stiff.

RDA's life probably changed the best when Khabib just rag dolled RDA like a little babushka and made RDA his little bitch for 15minutes. Then RDA got full use of that S/C coach and said never again, i'll make ppl my bitch! and none so more evident than when Cerrone bitched out and was waiting for herb dean to save his life.

RDA has a long career in the UFC and has continued to strap up and step up time and time again. His ability to bounce back from losses is what has put him in the position he is now. He's done plenty at 155 and as a champion he probably will collect the biggest check any champion at 155 has ever had.

Win or lose RDA is a true champ and if we try to diminish every single guy that Conor fights then it doesn't make Conor's achievements all that great. Cause if RDA isn't 'the man' at 155 then Conor wont be if he wins.

A long road filled with great fights, WAR RDA & Conor. Looking forward to it.

Such a dumb OP. RDA has been separated from consciousness before. Has nothing to do with "never quits". KTFO'd is KTFO'd

Khabib would do Conor a whole lot worse than he did RDA.

RDA most improved fighter. He started his UFC career on 2 losses and still got good over time and became the best LW champ. RDA should smash Conor

If he beats McGregor he'll have beaten Cerrone, Pettis, Henderson, N. Diaz, and McGregor in five fights. This guy is starting to put his stamp on the division in a way no one has since Penn. Of course, Khabib looms ominously in the shadowy recesses of rehab.
