it's disgusting but I can't stop laughing at this poor soul's reaction....
Because you know it fucking hurts. At 37 seconds it seems as if the storm finally passes but only to come back with more intensity and this fella's reaction is just too much:

JFC. dudes calfs are massive though so he must be doing something right

edit: seriously holy shit, dude has calf genetics bodybuilders would kill for

I've been wondering for a while why the calves are so much more prone to cramping than the rest of our muscles. Dr. Google hasn't really provided me with an answer.

@Lubaolong Do you know?

This guy sounds like he’s busting a moderate nut but then you have this.

could you have ever imagined when you first joined Sherdog that 15 years later you'd be posting a video about some dude's calves the day after Christmas?

Most people probably use their calves so much more than any other part of their body. They're literally carrying almost the entirety of your weight, up and down, constantly throughout every day.

Seems simple enough.

I just got a cramp in the arch of my foot as I clicked on this thread. Thanks TS!

I'd wake up with my toes pointed straight down and have to sleep standing up in the corner of the bedroom. It mostly happened when I was busy at work and didn't drink enough during the day. Haven't had any since I retired.

I've been driving forklifts and electric jacks on and off for years, and the gym helped too, but when driving I grip on to the steering so tight so I don't fly off and now my hands get stuck and tighten up.

It bugs me out.

i get similar in my forearms when i do lat pull downs. asked a few people and no one can explain why. i look a right twat when i go to scratch my head, and my arm just locks up.

hah saw this video on fb a while ago.

i really was hoping for like the skin to pop and maggots and worms to come crawling out!

That's my general assumption too and it makes physiological sense, especially when there's a potassium deficiency, but I just find it weird that I can't really find literature on something so commonplace.

If you don’t excersie you don’t get cramps..

Me too, but only after a night of drinking alcohol.
I used to get calf cramps often, so often that i got used to the pain.

I had the worst calf cramp of my life wake me up in the middle of the night a month or so ago. It went away and came right back 3 times. I was telling my wife to just cut my leg off after the 3rd one.

I've had this happen a few times when i've been sleeping. Not the nicest way to wake up.

I wonder if a taser would reset the electrical impulses that are going on down there.
