Thiago was the first person I worked with in Jiu Jitsu. Samuel Braga gave me the basic intro class (double leg, mount, americana) and let me drill that with Thiago. He was fun to have around in Knoxville until he went back to Texas. He had some of the toughest warmups haha.

I wish him the best.

Did he pass away? I was reading about him, and now the posts have turned to rest in peace. I really hope not, and wish the family and school well.
