    Pretty neat.
There has lately been so much talk about cops killing innocent people.
Good to see a supposed criminal save a cops life.

If that was Albuquerque, he'd have been shot for kicking the door, the charged for attempted manslaughter for not doing the CPR himself.

That should be a reduced sentence for good behavior.

Hopefully this impacts the teen in a positive way that will influence him to stay away from crime in the future.

Hell, I'm surprised the other cops didn't think the kid in cuffs had attacked the cop or something. Also in the raw footage the kid waits longer to alert the other cops - it wasn't as instantaneous is the news footage makes it out to be.

Also FWIW the kid has since been arrested on a new charge after this event.

Of course it took a while for him to realize the situation. He seemed to be looking the other way.
Once he saw the cop writhing about, like a bug on its back, he must have had to wonder WTF was going on.

Like when people get in messed up situations, everybody goes "I would have done this... that..."

But being put in an odd situation is not something the average person is trained for.
I have read about people that are experts in first aid, that have done everything wrong when they are themselves the first to witness someone in hazard.

One incident that I remember well was reading about a MD that saw someone take a tumble down some stairs. She tried to shake the person into consciousness, which is pretty much the last thing you should do.
