Video from my workout today - 225 pounds bench press for max reps etc..

    1. 225 pounds for reps
    2. Bodyweight + 15kg extra for max rep
    3. Standing militarypress for max rep 60kg
    4. Playing around.

    Also did light deadlift and cable rows inbetween.




    Thats basicly what i did, 1 set max for each of those excersises i filmed.. This is how i usally train once a week, and the other day is lighter and different excersises with more sets/reps.

    How do you guys train?

    Without getting into the particulars, like form, momentum etc.
    I would say that that was pretty impressive.

    But if you're going to post stuff like that, then you'd probably want to start a log and post it in there. Unless you're looking for someone to criticize your technique.

    Did 8 reps with 265(120kg?) 3 weeks ago ,on a bad day. so 275 can go anytime:p

    Your form is shit on the bench and pull ups but your shoulder press is clean as a virgin's honeypie. Also impressive jumping stuff at the end.

    Well, i train explosive bench. My ass isnt off the bench its just flexing as i go up again. Thats the way my shoulders feel the best training bench. It wasnt long ago i couldnt train with 60kg cuz my shoulders would ake. I go 90% way down on the pullups for the same reason. I would be waaaay stronger with better form without the labrum injuries. Thanks for the rating ;)

    how old are you and how much did it take to reach that level of strength? How strict is your diet?

    im 26, but i was stronger when i was 20. The last 6 yrs have been mentainance(?), and rehab for the shoulders.

    um.. i started training 1 time a week when i was closing in on 16 yrs old, then after a year i upped it to two times a week, then for a year or two i did 3 times a week. When i was 17 +4month :)p) , i did 137,5kg bench press and 130kg+ in narrowgrip bench press.. I was so fascinated by strongman i went into the woods lifting logs above my head, so it resulted in a chronic triceps injury. So when i was 19 yrs old, after 1 year of rehab and doing many reps i did a new PR 145kg.. Havent done more than that since that time.

    My diet was stricter before i got the bachelors degree in nutrition, since i had more motivation back then. And now i smoke weed like almost every day, so that effects my choice of food later in the day. haha..

    But i get alot of nutrient-rich food in the day, so it doesnt matter that much, except i get a bit fatter.

    For example:
    Breakfast: Shake with protein powder, mixed berries, some almonds and honey.

    Lunch: Either bread with ham/cheese/paprika maybe, or around 600grams of kesam(13% protein milk product) with honey and nuts.

    Dinner: varies so much, but if im healthy i can make around 400g of 5% grindedmeat from beef, some potatoes, tomatos, garlic, shrooms etc..

    Evening: it can vary from kebabs, pizza, burger, toast, peanuttbutter with honey etc.. Not that healthy usually. But i drink alot of green tea and chamomille tea in the evening with lemon, ginger and honey or some sweetening.

    Supplements: Creatine, Vitamin D(since i live in norway), Zink/magnesium and Omega 3.
