-Conor fought too aggressively due to a lack of experience at the highest level
-Conor's one of the better strikers in the sport, mixes it up, great reads, good natural timing
-He didn't factor in the weight last time because didn't expect grappling
-Conor needs to keep Diaz on the backfoot
-Conor needs to understand when he's not in trouble so he can take a rest
-Nate's defense needs to be perfect and he needs to go to the body early
-Thinks whoever can keep the highest pace will win
-Picked Conor last time, picking Diaz this time
-Thanks both guys for doing a great job and helping increase fighter pay

Funny how Cruz, a guy who fought in the WEC, could forget about Mir - a guy who was simultaneously a color commentator and a top 10, active fighter.

And Dom's pick is wrong. McG takes this rematch and makes it look like a clinic.

He forgot to weigh in that Conor almost dies to make weight at 145 to "fight midgets", as Conor puts it, so this gives him a much bigger reach and strength advantage.. but in reality, we just witnessed what happens to a unidimensional fighter like Conor who has no ground game, when he´s thrown into the sharks tank.

Got choked out after he was stunned, still found Nate's chin when he was rocked.

The haters better hope Nate finds a way to stun him again.

CM landed almost 60 significant strikes in the whole fight and didn´t even wobble Diaz, just cut him due to his previous cuts.... he had nothing for a 10-days-notice-tequila-Cabo-Diaz.... Diaz rocked him in the first 1-2 that he landed and didn´t have a camping at all. Just sayin...

Good break down by Cruz as always.

Interesting what he says about Conor gassing, he says it's about experience and knowing when to rest during the fight. Using the right strategy you can last quite a bit longer.

Meanwhile Sonnen said it's impossible for Conor to last longer and he will gas again in 2 rounds because you can't change your gas tank so quickly.

I definitely side with Cruz on this one.

Fair enough but a lot of fighters go through stretches of hard shots and don't get hurt. Doesn't mean Conor can't hurt Nate.

Diaz actually landed some hard shots on Conor early it was only after Conor threw himself out did it have a big impact.

People keep saying Nate was gonna ko him but Conor could've recovered. Watch how he catches Nate's chin twice beautifully right before the td. He then gets hit by the real 1-2 that spelled his demise.

His mistake I think was going right back to work, while still hurt. He could have stuck and moved to the end of the round.

My point is if Conor is more prepared to take what Nate has in the rematch, he's gonna find his chin all night.

I don´t know, man. All i´m saying is you can´t rely on a single weapon only, like him... so if that super duper whooper doesn´t land, than he´s done.

Conor has a lot of tools as a striker, he's gotta be ready to go 5 to utilize it all though.

Plus his ground game is so much better than people give him credit for.

Completely disagree, he´s never ever shown any proof of ground game existence, let alone be good.... got taken down and controled at ease by 2 weeks Mendes and the Diaz fight just showed how inexistent it is.... I don´t know where you got that idea from, pal.

He did fine in Mendes' guard, and he had a leg injury in that fight. He swept Diaz and evaded his guillotine while hurt, the choke came from a gassed, stunned McGregor.

He has a good jiu Jitsu coach and multiple high levels guys have said he is very competent.

What Mendes' guard???? He just stayed on top and controled top position, man, there was no guard and Mendes had no camp and he has no bjj game, just wrestling and top position for gnp, that´s how he lost the top position actually going for some nonsense move in the end of the round.... Frankie was ready though and asking the world for the fight while Mendes was hunting in his vacation, so CM clearly ducked Edgar .... lol... and really, CM was almost crying (and cried after the fight indeed) begging Herb Dean to stand them up. Yes, he obviously has the best bjj trainers that money can buy and is probably improving as much as possible in the short time he has but that´s about it, you can´t change your game in such a short space of time.
