Unless you’re in a league of your own in any combat sport it’s not worth it. For every Israel Adesanya, Henry Cejudo or Jon Jones there’s about 5 bums who won’t make it anywhere in this sport but to serve as someone’s highlight reel KO.This sport is not worth the risk. At all.

That's why I fear the consequenceWe don't even see the KO. This is the consequence, not the KO.
This is much like a tonic-clonic seizure that can sometimes be induced by head trauma. It's rare but it can happen after a concussion. They typically last a few minutes unlike most KOs where consciousness is typically restored in less than 1 minute.
