Video: conor mcgregor 30 min media workout

The sparring clips he has been releasing have all looked like this. It's the way he has been fighting for a while now. He thinks Nate won because of his chin in the first fight. He has brought in a few new sparring partners but it's still the same coaches and team. He made no substantial changes and he asked for the rematch right away, which is another indicator that he thinks the first fight was simply luck. If he truly thought otherwise, he would've wanted more time.

So yes, I can absolutely believe that someone like Conor who bought into his own hype a long time ago sees the limited success he had in the first fight and doesn't think that he needs to do anything differently other than adjust his mindset for an opponent who's a bit more durable and come in having done more long distance type conditioning. What do you think, he learned Muay Thai in a few months and has been keeping it a secret while feeding misinformation to the media in every interview?
You didn't answer my question, you just went on a rant, do you think Conor is an idiot and is releasing footage of any potential changes he plans to make for Nate to see?

Whether or not he will make changes remains to be seen but you've made an assumption that he isn't changing anything (or much) based of footage that he (Conor) knows will be available for everyone to see, maybe Conor should just invite Nate to come watch him train.

He looks sharp and he dodge punches very nicely. The problem is when he is gassed and he become flat footed

if i wanna see 2 men butt groping im gonna watch ghey porn

I'm embarrassed to post this, but I want him in me.

I actually said that out loud, but in an amused tone of voice.

I think I've worn out my use of that video on here, but it's so appropriate sometimes. A lot of times.

Edit: Conor listening to 2Pac. Still following Nate's lead. :D

So what exactly does he gain by laying down and getting punched in the stomach at the end of the video?

Working on taking body shots perhaps, he ate some hard ones from Diaz that took the wind out of him in the first fight. I don't know why he'd lay down though. Well... maybe I do. ;)

That’s not the way I’d phrase it personally but if you’re asking me that question yes or no, the logical answer is yes. If you think otherwise, you really haven’t been paying attention to the man’s career. We’re talking about the guy who was publicly announcing he would knock Nate out with an uppercut before the last fight and then… you guessed it, he came in whiffing uppercuts. He has made a career out of calling his shot, saying when and how he’s going to finish his opponents and then going out there and attempting to do it.

He has never made his approach a secret in the past so it’s silly to pretend that he’s going to start now, after a single loss that happened in a fight he and his team think he was dominating. It would undermine literally everything he says about the fight game and his mentality in general. Everything he has shown in the past and everything he is saying/doing in the build-up to this fight gives the impression that he’s going to come at Nate with the same exact tools, just attempting to slightly tailor them a bit more to someone who is larger and more durable.

A huge part of his success has been his unwavering belief in his abilities. He needs to think that Nate was on the verge of going down in the first fight and that he was winning the first 8 minutes handily, in order for that self-belief to remain intact. He’s surrounded by longtime friends and yes-men who don't seem able to think rationally about this match-up and/or tell him otherwise.

It's silly to pretend he might change his approach? But don't fighter usually change their approach coming off a loss? He hasn't changed his approach because there was no need to do so in the past, he was winning.
McGregor has also stated he never tailored his training camp for a specific opponent but has done so in this camp, that alone is a change in how he is approaching this fight.

It's not if he will fight Diaz differently, it's whether we know if he will change anything based off of a few training vids we've seen that he knows will be public, IF he was gonna come into the fight with a different gameplan he isn't gonna broadcast it to the world, it defeats the purpose.

You could combine all the footage of Conor training in the lead up to 202 and it wouldn't even equal a full training session, you or I have no idea what they've been working on or what the strategy is.

Best striker in mma, a pleasure to watch.
If he can keep up with the cardio he will finish Diaz.
