there are admirable qualities about him.

he went from welfare to the richest prize fight in history against the greatest boxer of all time in a span of 5-6 years.

he set goals, he worked hard, and he achieved.

he just bought into his own hype as some kind of gangster. but he's young and hopefully he'll learn from this.

ask Joe Louis and Sugar Ray Robinson what not worrying about money got them, broken and in a ditch.
 
He was in for the cash a long time ago, but without the UFC's good matchmaking he wouldn't be anywhere. That's where the role of a promoter enters; uncle dana and WME saw in McG a mine and they went for it but once they knew he's in for himself, they couldn't control him and that's why it took so damn time and several felonies to strip his jabroni ass of the title.

When I’m chilling with my friends watching a Conor card, blazed outta my mind, do you think I care for one second with what intentions (money, passion, legacy) Conor steps into the cage?
I dont give two flying fucks what his motivations are, as long as he entertains me.
