This isn't new for Viacom or for anyone in power in mma. Pride, EliteXC and even UFC put on freakshows, SF with Viacom/Coker did, as well. CM Punk, Frank at 40 headlining, Kimbo on TUF/main card/headliners, Giant Silva + a bunch of Takada dojo pro-wrestlers on main cards. Viacom wasn't known for patience when funding SF, so I don't see the connection. There could be one, but also remember that these freakshows were booked a while ago and that would mean trusting a very bold stock prediction.
